APX Digital Preset Oil Meter Set Up & Operation

The APX digital preset oil meter holds up to four presets and can dispense motor oil, gear lube, ATF or glycol . In this walkthrough, we will show you how to set up the meter to fit your needs. First, hit the reset button to turn the meter on and hit the OK/STOP button to go to the first preset. You can change the value of the preset by pressing the 10s, 1s or tenths buttons in the top row. If you make an error, go past nine on any of the digits to go back to zero. For this tutorial we will set the first preset at 2.5. Hit the auto button to go to the next preset, which we will set to three. You can skip any preset by hitting the auto button. Hit the reset button to save your settings. To use the presets in an automated mode, hit the auto button to scroll to the preset you want. Hit the OK/STOP button to select that preset and you’re ready to pull the trigger and dispense. If you need to change the unit of measure on the meter,… hold down the OK/STOP button for one second, then hold down that button again until the screen says “set”. To the right, you’ll be able to see the unit of measure flashing. Hit the auto button to scroll to liters,… gallons, pints, or quarts. Hit the reset button to save your choice. When you’re ready to pump,… hit the auto button to scroll to the preset you want and hit and hold the OK/STOP button to select that preset. Pull the trigger to start, and the meter will stop dispensing automatically when it reaches its preset limit.
