hi guys today I’m going to show you how I made this Eid door hanger but before we do that please go down below and hit that red subscribe button and the little bell next to it so you don’t miss any of my upcoming videos now this project was actually inspired by this pin and I’m going to show you how I made it and wait till the end of the video where you’ll find out how much I paid for the entire thing so we’re going to need 3 embroidery hoops half a meter of fabric some wooden letters spray paint or acrylic paint a brush hot glue gun scissors and whatever embellishments you would like to use we’re going to start by unscrewing the top so the two rings have come apart now I’m going to start painting I’m using some gold metallic paint with glitter in it but please feel free to use whatever you like okay once those have dried we’re going to place the fabric over top of the smaller ring and then place the larger ring over top of that to secure it in place just tug on the corners a little bit to make sure it’s nice and taut in the center once it’s ready just screw the top back on so that it’s nice and tight now we’re going to take our scissors and we’re going to trim the excess fabric off I’m going to run some hot glue over the edges on the back side just so that it stays secure and doesn’t slide out through the two hoops okay so while that’s setting in place we’re going to start painting our wooden letters now in the pin I believe they actually used vinyl cutout letters and I’ve seen some where they paint the letters directly on you can do that as well but I kind of like the wooden letters I like how they stand out so I went with this method okay so once those are dry just use some hot glue to stick the letter into the center of the ring and once that’s all dry we’re going to start putting our embellishments now play around with it see what you like but I’m going to put them on the top so I can cover this screw because I don’t think it looks nice I don’t want it to show so I’m going to place it right above the screw so it’s all hidden so I first glued the two twigs to the flower because they were all separate pieces and then I’m going to glue that entire thing on to the top and here we have the completed project I hope you like it. It doesn’t say Eid Mubarak it just says Eid but I think it looks nice and festive so the total cost for this project was $19.75 the key is to get things on sale or use coupons the letters I got them from a bargain shop here that sells them for a $1.25 each the embroidery hoops were 50% off so I got them for $4 each and the embellishments were from the dollar store the fabric was actually only $1.50 for the entire meter so look for sales pick things up and you can keep your cost down very low and you can use these things time and time again this Eid sign is going to go up on my door every Eid and we have two of them a year so I’ll get a lot of use out of it anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this project please leave a comment down below don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE and I will see you in my next video thanks for watching
