Assalam o alaikm viewers today i am gonna share with you a recipe which is one of my favorites this is bottle gourd with splitted gram lentil recipe it is very easy and simple recipe and very tasty, you can serve it with rice and also goes great with parathas so lets note down the ingredients we need for it for this i have 1 cup (250 gm) fully boiled gram lentil with some salt,garlic and turmeric added i over boiled it a bit because when it goes in tomatoes gravy it will be little stiff 500 gm boottle gourd cut into 1 inch cubes for 1 cup boiled daal we need 1/2 kg bottle gourd 1 cup oil in which i fried 1 large onion but fry light brown ,as you can see in the video 3 medium tomatoes peeled and chopped but you can also use grated in spices we need 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp cumin pwd 8 black pepper 4 cloves 1/4 tsp turmeric 1 tbsp crushed red chili 1 small cinnamon stick 3/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp had been added in boiled daal 1/4 tsp carom seeds 1/4 tsp garam masala pwd and 1/4 tsp will be added in the end so total 1/2 tsp 1 big cardamom 1/2 tsp red chili pwd 1 tsp full garlic paste with in condiment we serve ginger julienne,green chilies and mint leaves and very fine chopped ginger and green chilies will be used in cooking I am adding oil in which pot i fry onions earlier and i will keep some oil for later use because boiled gram lentil will soak oil from the gravy so i will use remaining as baghar add whole spices first and when it crackles add 1/2 fried onions in it add spices with it as well and garlic paste cook them only 30 sec and then add 1/4 cup water to avoid burning cook it just a minute and then add chopped ginger and green chili add chopped ginger and green chilies fry few sec then add chopped tomatoes in it flame is on high til now now i am turning the flame to med low and cover it after adding 1/2 glass water in it so tomatoes become a paste tomatoes are cooked now add bottle gourd in it cook it for a minute with gravy and then add water to cook them properly add 1 glass water and cover the lid.turn the flame to med low and cook it 10 to 15 minutes or untill it will be cooked completely so its been cooking from 20 minutes and bottle gourd is nice and soft water is almost evaporated now i am adding boiled daal in it if you want a quick version of it boil bottle gourd as well while boiling gram lentil prepare gravy and mix them in it and your curry has been ready in just 10 minutes mix it nicely i told you that boiled daal will absorb the oil so you can see this is happened here add water it needs few minutes more add little water add garam masala few leaves of mint goes in it it give a nice flavor to it fried onion goes in some julienne ginger and some chopped green chilies and i will serve these garnishing with it as well in a separate plate now pour the remaining oil n top and no need to do any thing with it because it already has a nice taste and aroma of fried onions turn the flame to low and simmer it for just 2 mins and then serve it so my delicious and favorite bottle gourd and gram lentil recipe is ready to serve now it is super tasty and very easy so try it out ,you will definitely love it serve it with parathas so try and give me your feed back share your views and suggestions in your comments if you like my videos do give a thumbs up and subscribe my channel for more check my face book page ,there are many written recipes for you remember me in your prayers ALLAH hafiz

  2. Mahira pls aap hamain yey batain agar ham aik kilo gosht ki reciepe ko double ,tripple karain tu Kya har masalay ko bhi ISI tarha karain.jaisay mirchain, namak wagaira….mujhay dawat karni hay..magar samjh nahi aa raha Kay kaisay ziyada bana sactay hain.
