life. In this video we are talking about how much
apple cider vinegar you should drink. A lot of people know that apple cider vinegar
helps balance your blood sugar, digestion and supporting weight loss but what people
don’t know is how much you should consume to get those results. So, what were going to talk about in this
video is some of the research and science behind apple cider vinegar and give you a
guide of how much you need to actually drink to get some results. The fist up on our list is blood sugar. When it comes to blood sugar apple cider vinegar
helps the blood sugar balance by supporting the insulin sensitivity and slows the rate
in which your stomach empties. As a result your insulin levels stay lower
when you consume that meal and apple cider vinegar. When we look at blood sugar balance and apple
cider vinegar what research shows is that consuming 4 teaspoons either prior to your
meal or post meal is going to give you the best results. When we look at 4 teaspoons that is considered
be to 1-2 tablespoons. When we look at blood sugar balance research
also tells us that you are going to get the most impact if you are consuming a carby meal
or high sugar meal. What you need to know when you are consuming
a carby meal or high sugar meal, consume 1-2 tablespoons prior to your meal or post meal
and that is going to give you the best results. Now, lets take a look at weight loss. Now, apple cider vinegar supports weight loss
because it helps you eat a little less. When we look at weight loss and apple cider
vinegar there are a couple studies out there. Now one study what happened the participants
were on a diet and they consumed two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar every single day and
then there were participants that were on a diet that did not consume apple cider vinegar. The participants that consumed the apple cider
vinegar lost twice as much weight on the diet as those who didn’t. Apple cider vinegar showed positive effects
there and that was 2 tablespoons a day. Now, when we look at another study in regard
to weight loss there was a group that consumed 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar for
a three month period and what was found was that they were able to lose on average 2-4
pounds of weight. When we look at apple cider vinegar and the
best amount to consume, what the research shows us is that 1-2 tablespoons is going
to be the absolute minimum to consume to see best results. When we look at the apple cider vinegar, what
I typically recommend is 1-2 tablespoons two times today. Some people might do 1-2 tablespoons up to
three times a day that is also fine but If you want to know the minimal amount you have
to consume it is 1-2 tablespoons a day for best results 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times per
day. As I mentioned I personally like 1-2 tablespoons
twice a day. When we look at the apple cider vinegar capsules
I recommend, one capsule is equal to one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. So, what were going to want to do is when
were taking apple cider vinegar take 1-2 capsules a day but if we want better results with it
we can do 1-2 capsules up to three times per day. If you want to learn more about the apple

vinegar once again 1-2 tablespoons is what you have to do at the bare minimum to get

    – 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    – 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Hi Dr. Nick, thanks for sharing the video, i am 44 years,Male from india, one year ago diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetic and High BP, i am on losartan for HBP and Metformin one capusule 500MG a day for Diabetic. i saw all the comments below and just wanted to ask pretty straight forward question.. i am so inspired by watching your video, TOday i got ACV , Before i start using it i need your recommendations, would you recommend for me to use 3 times a day like 2TBS early morning on a empty stomach , 2TBS before lunch, 2TBS before going to BED or before dinner ? Can i stop taking metformin while i am on ACV ? Can i mix ACV with Bitter melon juice every morning on a Empty stomach ? Please Suggest. we in india are known to eat lots of carbs like Rice in every meal. I do exercise Regularly.

  6. Ok here's mine. I take to the gym with me in the evening after dinner, 1 to 1 1/2 cups water, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp beet powder for my high BP, (yes on meds and controlled) 1/8 tsp cayenne, 1/8 tsp tumeric, and about 1/4 tsp cocoa powder. Yes sounds disgusting but works for me.

  10. I use apple cider vinegar , 180 Ml water diluted with two table spoon of apple cider vinegar, to lower my blood pressure and to lower triglyceride,glucose, and cholesterol

  11. Athough diluted with water (2 tbl spn of ACV) can still cause damage to your teeth despite using a straw. Realistically it will still make contact with the back of your teeth somehow. More importantly, it can also harm the lining of your stomach and esophagus over a period of time. My opinion is the bad outweighs the long list of "benefits" – therefore I choose to avoid this drink all together.

I noted too,would be very interesting to hear you Dr Nick, commenting on this, I noticed that eating,drinking lemon also decrease the sugar taste,discomfort, with too much sugar…it acts rather quick,,but I feel it in my body that it helps neutralizing some of the sugar/feeling/level….thoughts about that?

  19. I realize not all ACV is created equal!!!! Unfiltered AND organic ACV is the ONLY ACV to provide these health benefits. I'm surprised I have read zero comments of this! I admit I skimmed the comments but you have to admit ACV tastes…. well….. um "NOT SO GREAT"!! Make sure your ACV is both unfiltered and organic or you are simply pissing off your taste buds! Most grocery stores have a separate section where you'll find organic/unfiltered ACV.

  21. I do 4 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, a dash of tumeric, a dash of ginger, a dash of cayenne pepper and fill up with water in a 32 oz bottle every morning. Is that ok?

  22. WAIT A MINUTE ! I've watched countless videos in the past week on how ACV " melts " fat away. 2:30. I hardly think losing 2 pounds over a three month period can be considered melting. I can't see this stuff living up to the hype. But I'm gonna try it anyway.

  26. I am honestly Leary from things I read about teeth erosion. I might just end up taking capsules. It is not worth erosion to me. It’s truly not.

  32. Acv has helped with conspitation and hemmohroids. I take it with water 5 times a day and i applied it on my butt with a cotton pad. Only thing is i felt very hungry not sure if hunger was from acv or from not eating enough.
