IN HER TIME SINCE HER PASSING HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE MADE SURE HER LEGACY CONTINUES THROUGH THE KENDALL BAIN FOUNDATION AND HERE TO TELL US MORE ABOUT AN EVENT THEY HAVE COMING UP IS MAVERICK, THE FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF THE FOUNDATION PRAYED THANK YOU FOR COMING ON.>>THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME.>>SINCE YOU CREATED THIS, WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED IN THE LAST YEAR?>>IN THE LAST YEAR THE FOUNDATION HAS RAISED $65,000. IT HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE WITH THAT MONEY WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THE KENDALL BAIN COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP, WE HAVE BUILT A SECOND KENDALL BAIN SCHOOL IN RWANDA THE SERVICES 150 BOYS AND GIRLS IN RWANDA AND WE HAVE DONATED TO CANCER RESEARCH FIRST A FREE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE PROGRAM FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH CANCER.>>YOU GUYS ARE MOVING. SHE MEANT A LOT TO THE FAMILY AND THROUGH HER JOURNEY WE GOT TO KNOW HER VERY WELL AND SUPPORTED HER WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS. IT WAS VERY MOVING TO SEE, UNFORTUNATELY, BUT WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THFOUNDATION HONORING HER IN SUCH A WAY, WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GIVE A SCHOLARSHIP THIS SPRING TO A ROANOKE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR AND IT IS A $2500 SCHOLARSHIP AND IT WILL BE AWARDEAT>>THAT IS GREAT. YOU HAVE A TERM A KENDALL LIFE. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE A KENDALL LIFE?>>ONE THAT EXUDES A GRACE AND POSITIVITY A SHE REALLY, THROUGH HER BATTLE, WAS JUST AMAZING AND IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH AND SHE OVERCAME SO MUCH ADVERSITY, IT LEFT SUCH AN INDELIBLE MARK ON THOSE WHO KNEWHER.>>AND CLEARLY INSPIRING. LET’S TALK ABOUT KENDALL’S KILOMETERS. TELL US ABOUT THE EVENT.>>THE EVENT, CANDLES, ALMOND OR IS OUR ONE MILE WALK, 5K RACE ON THE ROANOKE RIVER AT AM. IT STARTS AT RIVERBED SPORTS COMPLEX AND ENDS AT SMITH PARK WITH SOME FESTIVITIES AND LAST YEAR WE HAD A GREAT TURNOUT. IT WAS A GREAT DAY. WE HAD THE ROANOKE VALLEY CHEERLEADING SQUAD FROM THE SCHOOL COME OUT AND CHEER ALONG. IT’S A GREAT EVENT.
