Most INSANE Rifles In The World!

From taking down tanks to shooting through
walls, here are 10 of the coolest and most impressive rifles in the world! 10. Steyr IWS 2000 This powerful weapon is made by Steyr-Mannlicher
AG of Austria, who began development in the mid-80s. IWS stands for Infantry Weapon System and
the Steyr is regarded as one of the best AMR or ‘anti-materiel’ rifles in the world. AMR means its purpose is to take down military
targets like radar cabins or even helicopters rather than people. It’s 1800 mm long, 18 kg in weight and has
a range of at least 1,000 m (3,281 ft), firing 15.2 mm ammo. These tough-looking projectiles are in the
APFSD category or ‘Armour Piercing Fin Stabilised Discarding Sabot’. A sabot is an attachment that holds the projectile
in place and falls away once the trigger is pulled. There’s much debate out there on whether
the Steyr IWS 2000 is actually a sniper rifle or whether it can just be used like one. One thing’s for sure if you were under attack
from one of these babies, you’d soon know it! 9. Anzio Take-Down Rifle The Anzio Take-Down is a devastating anti-materiel
rifle known for being lightweight as well as powerful. It weighs 39 pounds (17.7 kg) and shoots 20mm
Vulcan ammo from a 20 mm barrel. It fires at an eye-popping 1006 m per second
(3300 ft). The Anzio 20mm was the first gun of its type
to be made available to the public in nearly a century! It has a muzzle which is threaded, meaning
it can accept a muzzle brake or a suppressor. If you don’t know what those are then let’s
go through ‘em one at a time. A muzzle is the exit point of the barrel and
a muzzle break cuts down the recoil after the shot is fired. A suppressor is better known as a silencer,
like you’d see in a million cool movies and some not so cool ones. Basically if you want to keep your assassinations
quiet you use a suppressor. I’m assuming you’re not planning anything,
and if you were you wouldn’t be relying on this vid to give you the deets…! And now for number 8, but first let us know
what videos you would like to see in the future in the comments below, and if you are new
here be sure to subscribe before you leave!! 8. Denel NTW-20 This AMR rifle or large calibre sniper rifle
began development in the mid-1990s and is produced by Denel’s Mechem Division. Denel supply a lot of things to the SANDF
or South African National Defence Force, and if they’re using the NTW-20 then they really
are a force to be reckoned with! These big guys are very effective at disabling
vehicles. It weighs between 26-29 kg (57 – 64 lbs) and
is so big, it takes 2 men to carry it around. It has a range of 1500 meters to about 2,300
meters! The NTW-20 has a cool feature where you can
change the caliber without a lot of dismantling or tools. The caliber of a gun is the diameter of either
the barrel or projectile. Once you’ve changed the caliber there’s
something you really need to watch out for: the recoil. This rifle is known for having major recoil
once fired. In fact some consider it to have the maximum
level of recoil a soldier can take. So be warned… if you’re in combat you
may hit your target but you’re also likely to have your shoulder pop out into the bargain…! Anyone would think guns were dangerous, right? 7. Knight’s Armament M110 The Knight’s Armament M110 was invented
10 years ago as part of an ongoing line from the company founded more than 30 years ago. It’s well-regarded for both its accuracy
and flexibility on the field. This weapon was so effective it received an
award from the US Army! It was named one of the best inventions of
2007 and is still highly used today. Firing 7.62mm caliber rounds and weighing
16 lbs, (7.3 kg) this Semi-Automatic Sniper System has a 20 inch barrel and 20 round magazine. It has a range of 800 meters! It is 46.75 in (119 cm) long and has rail
mounting ability plus a sound suppressor system. Now I mentioned talked about suppressors before,
but what about those other 2 things? The magazine stores and feeds ammunition into
a firearm. Rail mounting refers to the metal or polymers
strips onto which attachments can be made. The MM10 is highly adaptable and every inch
the sniper’s friend. Who’d want to be friends with a sniper? This thing would! 6. LWRC SABR 308 The SABR 308 is made by Land Warfare Resources
Corporation, a company which is known for its high performance rifles that are unusual
for mass produced firearms. It uses a gas piston operating system which
sounds cool but you’ve got to be careful when using this thing. As with all of these, but you don’t need
me to tell you that! You see, without a suppressor in place you
can experience gas blowback. While that might sound funny, in reality gas
blowback is a great way of getting a free facelift if you’re handling a rifle and
don’t know what you’re doing! The 308 also has what’s called a side mounted
charging handle that enables you to reload easily, even if you’re looking through the
gunsight. It’s also equipped with what’s called
a “”Geissele trigger”. That’s a 2 stage trigger, as in a trigger
that reduces the pressure needed to actually take your shot. That makes an already super dangerous weapon
even more dangerous! 5. SRS-A1 Stealth Recon Scout Bigger doesn’t always mean better when it
comes to sniper rifles! At anywhere between 31.75 – 37.5 inches (2.64
– 3.12 ft) the SRS-A1 is billed as the shortest of its kind in the world and weighs 12.5 lbs
(5.7 kg). This is partly down to what’s called a ‘bullpup
configuration’. To put it in simply that’s basically when
a gun has more stuff built behind its trigger to reduce its size. Something that also helps the weapon stay
compact is its collapsible bolt design, which works kind of like a telescope. It’s a foot shy of many of its competitors
and can use a range of calibers. Not only is it small, but the SRS-A1 is also
one tough cookie. The rifle is designed to withstand the most
difficult of climates, from extreme heat to extreme cold, and is made from super tough
materials like ultra high strength steel. 4. Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 Let’s go back in time to World War II, where
sniper rifles were handled in the most brutal of environments. The British company Lee Enfield had a good
rep for producing rifles and when the design was modified by UK gunmaker Holland and Holland,
the result was classed by some as the best sniper rifle of the conflict. What set the Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 apart from
the competition was its attention to detail. Whereas other rifles were crudely-adapted
for snipers, this weapon had a range of features such as a cheek rest and a superior scope. It fired a .303 cartridge and had a 10 round
magazine. While the .303 was positively antiquated,
using techniques dating back to the last century, the gun was considered a great asset when
having to deal with lots of targets in rapid succession. The design was developed into the 1980s, that’s
how reliable it was! 3. AWM AWM stands for ‘Arctic Warfare Magnum’
which sounds pretty cool. And no ‘cool’ is not a pun cos of the
connection to snow and everything! This bolt action sniper rifle is between 1200
– 1230 mm (47.2 – 48.4 in) in length and weighs anywhere between 6.5 – 6.9 kg (14.3 -15.2
lbs). Depending on what version you’re using it
fires .300 Winchester Magnum or .338 Lapua Magnum ammo. It has a detachable box magazine and a firing
range of between 1,100 – 1,700 m (3,609 – 5,577 ft). Manufactured by Accuracy International, this
rifle has an alternate name of ‘AWSM’… ‘Arctic Warfare SUPER Magnum’. Guess that means it turns any sniper into
a super sniper. In fact this was proven in late 2009 when
2 Taliban machine gunners in Afghanistan were shot at a distance of 2,475 m (8,121 ft). This set the record at the time for the longest
recorded sniper kill so this weapon is the real deal when it comes to effectiveness on
the field. It was only retired fairly recently in 2012. 2. Barrett M82 This semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle is
used by the military in almost 60 countries, though surprisingly it was entirely developed
by the Barrett Firearms Manufacturing Company and not the army. The name ‘M82’ comes from the year 1982
as the gun was worked on throughout the 80s before entering circulation in 1989. It weighs around 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs) with a
10 round capacity. The rifle has a maximum range of 1,800 m (5,905
ft) and its projectiles are able to bust through brick and concrete, making it a devastating
tool for a sniper who needs to pick off targets who are hiding behind walls! In 2004 and 2008 record kills were made using
the gun in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Barrett M82 gained notoriety also for
being featured in the fourth Rambo movie in 2008. Sometimes a weapon can become as big a star
as the lead actor…! 1. CheyTac M200 Intervention When it comes to the best sniper rifle in
the world, the bolt action CheyTac M200 Intervention is a strong contender. Highly regarded for its lightweight 12.3 kg
(27.12 lbs) construction, it’s also the longest range sniper rifle ever. There’s no hiding from this mother with
its range of between 1,830 – 2,100 m (6,004 – 6,890 ft)! It fires a .408 CheyTac round and has a 5.7
magazine capacity. The M200 is relied upon by units such as the
British SAS and has been around since 2001. So it has all the credentials to become a
legend in the field of sniper rifles, right? Wrong! Despite its impressive design the CheyTac
isn’t widely-used, with only 5 countries choosing to deploy its epic firepower. Why the low numbers? Well, it’s believed the length of the weapon
works against it. The M200 is 1400 mm (55 in) long and that
size combined with the high price tag keeps it out of major circulation. Which is a shame we guess, though arguably
the planet is a less dangerous place with such a crazy gun in its global arsenal! Some would say we need M200s to keep the peace…
although, maybe we should give peace a chance! Thanks for watching! Let us know your favorite in the comments! Did you agree with this list? You can say whatever you want, just don’t
shoot the messenger okay? Be sure to subscribe and see you soon! Byeeee

  1. Wait. Hold up. I couldn't even finish the video before commenting. A suppressor on a 20mm gun?!? Is this bitch retarded? That's even dumber than a shoulder fired 20mm rifle!!!

  2. ….and the assembly footage you used for the Enfield was from a damn android game, it's called "World of Guns Assembly". YouTube should ban accounts for such stupid ass shit. Bear in mind that one of the main reasons that I like firearms is because they give me the option of shooting people that piss me off or insult me.

  3. Wow talk about false information!!! Who ever made this video must work for cnn. False facts and video representations…..

  4. No a suppressor suppreses the shockwave of the bullet breaking the sound barrier and a silencer silences the explosion from the gass and the shockwave of the bullet

  5. Lmao nice thumbnail. Good to see you know your stuff about guns, I mean sure the brass stays attached to the projectile when it leaves the gun..

  6. Poorly researched and not a good reference for anything. Just another money grabbing list video. You’re welcome for the click scum

  7. Clearly u have never seen a APFSDS round its far far looking like a bullet.

    1. anything above 30 mm round that has a FIN on its end is considered APFSDS
    2. The round is used to penetrate a TANK not a AFV or IFV or a LAV.
    3. Nowadays the APFSDS is made of depleted uranium and titanium or other strong metals.
    4. Steyr IWS 2000 is can use an APHE, APT, HE, HET, APHET, APIT.
    5. Steyr IWS 2000 is only used by the austrian military as an Semi-automatic Bullpup AMR rifle.

  8. Is nobody going to point out the thumbnail for this video? Do you not see the cartridge coming out of the muzzle?!

  9. Sabot is pronounced say•boh, it’s French for Pete’s sake… some of the pictures are not of the weapon they are talking about… Wow, listening further it’s pretty evident that the narrator knows almost nothing about rifles. What genius thought it would be a good idea to have this person narrate a video about firearms?

  10. You're video is incorrect about the AWM. It's still used by the British and recently began being issued in the USMC as the Mk 13. The M200 Cheytac is used widely in many special operations force all over the world. You people need to do a better job than what I've seen so far

  11. You are soooooo full of $hit lady! you should at least respect the weapons that give you freedom enough to do some fkn research on them instead of pulling it out of your lying a$$ and using click bait to drag in people who don't know the difference! don't shoot the messenger my a$$! you knew this was coming! anything for a profit right???

  12. So sabot is pronounced say-bo it's a heavy Dart with wings on it contained inside a bullet so that when it flies out of the barrel the bullet shell Falls away and the dark can be like a highly-focused armor-piercing projectile. A muzzle brake does not disperse the gases out the front of the rifle more smoothly and reduce recoil. It redirects the gas in another Direction compensating for The Recoil but not reducing it. Gas blowback can refer to one of two things. Either it's referring to the waist and rifles cycle ammunition by capturing gas and using it to blow the bolt backwards than a spring pushes it back forward and a grabs a new bullet. Or you can refer to the gas blowing in your face yes but that is a result of suppressing a gun putting a suppressor on it would not reduce the effective that it would definitely increase the effect of that. A lot of guns have port on the front of the gas tube at the front of the rifle that allows you to adjust how much gas rifle allows to travel backwards to cycle the gun. It can be adjusted so that the extra gas and pressure that results from suppressing the rifle doesn't become so strong that it makes it out of the gun and starts to blow oil and gunpowder in your face. It's not dangerous it's just a nuisance

  13. Why do a video on rifles if your channel is antigun? Trust me only serial killers want to have to use a weapon to take a life. The whole reason your commentator can sarcastically talk down the subject of rifles is because rifles, and people dying behind them, GAVE her that right. Yes rights can be taken away, let her go to Iran and start yelling this same stuff from a street corner and see just how important it is to have people with rifles to protect your rights.

  14. I'm probably 100% certain that it's been pointed out already but it's definitely called a geissele trigger pronounced guiseley. I did the same thing though when I first learned about them

  15. I caught the same thing and was yelling its a Barrett you idgit! ill be reporting this video to another channel where they stole footage from. Have fun! BTW the channel you stole from has nearly 5 million subscribers, and guess whos one of them lmao. You people suck.

  16. A sp sniper rifle that fires a 50cal rail, has no blowback ,uses a O2 compression to fire rail, is quite as a church mouse. shoot at 6K speed through 10ft concrete can be used on a A10 tank killer.

  17. Ok first of all who ever did you research on these firearms needs to be fired there are so many inaccuracies its laughable. Second I understand there are limited clips of certain rifles you showed but don't just sub in another rifle. Third do more research in general the longet conformed kill from a sniper/ amw was over 2.4 miles with a Macallan TAC- 50 by a Canadian sniper in Afghanistan cant remeber the year off hand but i believe it was 2013 or 14. Fourth the longest shot with a specialized rifle happened in 2017 it was a tako rifle at 3600 to 3700 meters i believe not sure off hand but the video was post to the firearms blog. Videos like this with false information and bad clips and editing are what help stereotype certain firearms that helps law maker ban then. Please check you facts.

  18. so much wrong with this video, just to name 1 the mag shown for the knights armament m110 at 4:11 is and air soft mag

  19. Photo shopped thumbnail
Ronny Barrett: you’re a joke to me
    Two bipod is too much
Now give credit for original owner of these vids used in the video

  20. Lol you guys obviously have no idea what your talking about LMAO on that note I like you showcasing a gun turns out to be airsoft lmao

  21. i aske my self the have so powerful guns than why the not shoot the ufo's down with it ?? or are the chikken for it

  22. It realy would be nice if you actually researched things properly and at the very least learned the lingo .
for instance, the Lee Enfiield no4 mk1. its not said mk1. its mark1 .
So many of your videos are incorrect .
Just because you Can post a vid, dosn't mean you should.
    no thumbs up from me,

  23. Shows M4 at 60 seconds under heading of Steyr IWS 2000. Can't pronounce anti-materiel correctly either at 1:17. Keeps showing M4 rifle. I give up at 2 minutes! THUMBS DOWN!

  24. This was one of the most in accurate videos I’ve ever seen, On the cover it even shows the entire cartridge coming out the end of the barrel LOL, so stupid

  25. A suppressor IS NOT a silencer!!!!!! A suppressor is just that, a suppressor. Meaning it quiets/reduces the explosion/percussion that comes out of the muzzle as the projectile exits. Although it does greatly reduce the over all sound of a firearms percussive explosion, and shortens the distance in which a shot can be heard. Also, suppressors are legal in some states for civilians, where as silencers can only be used by law enforcement and military applications…

  26. OMG! my new BFF 😁😍😘😏😉😉😒😭😁😌💕😊😔✌️😎😄😀😅😇😍😚😋🥰🙂😂😃😄🤣🙃😘😛 LOL!
BTW RU sure these are the top 10 and not like just cool

  27. Wtf the intervention has a magazine that fits 5.7 rounds?
I wouldn't fancy cutting one of the rounds up to make a 0.7 of a round.

  28. why would you show a barret M802M1 in case of the Denel NTW-20? Meaning the Barret under the Denel part of the video

  29. Why on number 8 did you show the barrett 50cal. Rifle. Instead of the actual rifle you was talking about. I hate when people just repeat what they hear and know nothing about what they talking about

  30. It is ludicrous to watch these videos, they continually show the wrong guns when featuring one make / model, mispronounce words, it’s amazing they put all the time to produce videos which are so poorly researched

  31. Most insane riflea in the world that Trump wants banned lol jk but I swear thats thething now. No mind having troglatides

  32. That was 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back, so much bull in this video it doesn't even rate at the level of a pre-high school student.

  33. OK so the actual gun on the thumbnail wasn’t in the video and I kind of knew that already but the actual canteen made up for that

  34. What an annoying voice and video talking about one weapon system while showing another 👎👎👎

  35. Your thumbnail is stupid.

Oh wow, your video is stupid as well. Dont talk about things that you dont understand. Misinformation is already too rampant on the internet without your help.

  36. You’re so wrong in saying “if you want to keep your assassinations quiet use a suppressor”, that’s not even close to what a suppressor is for and you should be ashamed of yourself. You’ve watched too many movies.

  37. Most images for #10 are NOT IWS 2000 at all, only the black and white picture is (taken from Wikipedia article), the rest is just stock footage from unrelated small caliber rifles and ammo.
IWS 2000 fires 169mm long ammunition (discarding sabot).? The barrel is not even rifled since the ammunition is fin stabilized, so it should not even be called a rifle.

  38. "If you're handling a rifle and don't know what you're doing." REEEEAAALLYYY???!!! If you don't know what you're doing with a rifle, you could get hurt?! Wow! Also, who calls a rifle "One tough cookie"?

  39. They are showing a 82a1 or the 107 barrett and calling it something different then show the rifle they are talking about at the end of the segment. Sheeese

  40. The Lee infield was a good rifle however it use a mauser bold design most bolt action rifles do mauser was the best at making a sniper rifle fact !

  41. The Barrett in not a sniper rifle it was designed as a anti material weapon, I can be used as a sniper rifle but that wasnt its intended purpose
