Green Gram / Moong Dal 1 cup To be added in the Cooker : Onion 1, 4 Green chillies, Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves Handful, Tomato 1 Big, Garlic 6 Pods To be added in the Cooker : Sambar Powder 1 Tbsp, Turmeric Powder, Jeera 1/2 Tsp, Hing Tamarind 1 Gooseberry sized soaked in water (Extract Juice) Mustard 1/2 Tsp, Channa Dal 1 Tsp, Urad Dal 1/2 Tsp, Fenugreek few, Pepper few, Onion 1/2 and Curry leaves, Hing Powder little, Salt and Oil Wash Green Gram / Moong Dal and add 3 Cups of water and add all the ingredients Pressure Cook for 2 or 3 Whistles Cooked Green Gram/ Moong Dal and Mash it Heat oil in a small pan add Mustard, Channa Dal, Urad Dal, Fenugreek, Pepper, Onion, Curry leaves and Hing and saute well Add this to the Green Gram, Add Tamarind Juice, Salt and let it boil for 2 minutes Garnish Coriander Leaves, Green Gram / Moong Dal Sambar is ready.
