In this video… I will show you my potato cutter. I will use wrong size baking tray… And, I will shake some potatoes. I will make some Potatoes in Oven.
Very easy. They are crispy outside and soft inside. They are good for Snack or, to pair with any dish. Especially with Chicken in oven. Actually, some days before I
shared with you Chicken recipe. If you didn’t watch yet,
you can find link here above… Or, in description box. I am Rosy. Welcome to Katastrofa la Cocina. Let’s start by peeling the potatoes. Im using about one Kilogram. 7 Potatoes. Medium Size. And, I would like to invite you to subscribe to the Channel.
You can press the Red Button. And, also… If you want, you can press bell icon, to not miss any video. And, continuing with the recipe… We will put Potatoes in cold water. With this you will prevent them to change color and,
also it helps to remove starch. Now, we will cut our Potatoes. I decide to cut on wedges. Also you can cut in Big Chunks. First we will cut the potato by half, then we will make a diagonal cut. And, again. Trying to make the wedges with similar thickness. And, I am here again to tell you a bit
about the next step. Parboil the potatoes. I did this because,
besides reduce the time in oven… You will get Potatoes that will be
crispy outside and soft inside. To make this, we will put water to boil. When water start boiling add,
1 teaspoon of salt. And, potatoes. We will let in boiling water for about
10 minutes. Maybe bit more or less. That’s why I recommend you to use a
knife to pierce a wedge. Knife should pass easily… But should show just little bit resistance
in the center. After 10 minutes,
remove potatoes from boiling water and, let to cool down for about 5 minutes. Now add 3 Tablespoon of Olive oil. Or, the oil you want to use. 1 teaspoon of Salt. Or, to taste. 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper. 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic powder. Also, you can use 3 Minced Garlic cloves. 1/2 teaspoon of Paprika powder. 1/2 teaspoon of dry Thyme. You can also use fresh Thyme or Rosemary. Mix well. Brush little bit of Oil on Baking tray. Pour the Potatoes. I have a small baking tray so, I put some potatoes in other baking tray. I did this so potatoes have space and,
bake evenly. Now we will take to oven preheated to
200 C (400 F) After 15 minutes… …we will flip and mix carefully with a spatula. And, we will take to oven from
15 to 20 minutes more. Or, until golden. You can check with a fork. Occasional check so potato don’t burn. If you leave them too much time in oven,
they will be so dry. And, as simple as that
