Did you know, that 1 kilogram of dry seaweed represent the equivalent of almost 10 kilograms of wet seaweed?
Also, only 100 grams of dried seaweed represent the equivalent of one kilogram of vegetables. If you do not know, seaweeds are one of the most nutritious food ingredients in the world due to the large number content of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
In addition, seaweeds contain beta-carotene that acts as an antioxidant as well as proteins, polysaccharides, fibers that help accelerate intestinal transit, but also chlorophyll, a regenerating substance. With this seaweed you can easily prepare a tasty salad at home.
To prepare you need 2 cups Wakame Stems, 1 carrot and 1 cucumber, 3 tablespoons of Vinegar, half teaspoon of sweetener, 1 – 2 tablespoons Soy sauce, half teaspoon of Sesame Oil, a red chili, 1 teaspoon of sesame, salt and pepper up to taste.
Soak the Wakame for 5-10 minutes then drain.
Wash and grated the cucumber and carrot.
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
If you don’t like the Wakame raw you can steam or fry for 1 minute.
