Preparing the wall! So, with a spatula and a brush, the wall is
cleaned of parts of the solution. At the same time, the surface of the brick
must be treated with care, avoiding any damage. If a crumbling element is found in the wall,
it should be replaced so that this part of the house outside does not differ from other
similar ones. Be sure to check the condition of the seams. If they crumble from a lack of cement, you
can use one of the proposed methods: the seam is deepened by a few millimeters,
a new, better mixture is made, which fixes the problematic seams. The solution that gets on the front of the
wall is immediately wiped off; acquire deep penetration soil, with a special
brush, cultivate the seams. Primer should be at least two times. The efflorescence should be thoroughly cleaned. Given that this is a salt that protrudes from
the inside, it is advisable to wait a while until the crystals cease to appear. Work of this nature is labor intensive and
time consuming. After preparing the walls, they should dry
(a week and a half in dry weather). When this happened, you can do dyeing. All plastic or wooden elements on the facade
of the building must be sealed with adhesive tape or a special film. This will help keep them clean. If possible, the wall can be treated with
soft blasting. Using this technology, it is possible not
only to effectively remove all contaminants, but to improve the quality of painting. Directly paint on a brick for outdoor work
is applied with a spray gun, brush or roller. The spray gun should be new and adjusted,
it is better to choose a soft roller. Solid miss some minor bumps. Typically, the coloring matter is applied
in no less than two layers. For light species, more layers may be required. The primer applied before painting will increase
adhesion, which will significantly reduce the consumption of the dye.
